No Fly Vacation To Jamaica

Not everyone likes to fly. Some people are scared to board an airplane and others simply hate the stress which accompanies visiting an airport.

For those people, a vacation to a popular destination like Jamaica is still very much possible. Cruising offers the greatest way to see Jamaica, without flying.

Cruise Industry News

Here are two of several things happening in the cruise industry:

1. Disney's Holiday Themed Voyages 2015

Disney Cruise Line's ships will be really festive for the holidays. Starting in early November through December 24th, all four Disney vessels will offer fun-filled, holiday activities for the entire family.

Expect events such as Mickey's Tree-Lighting Magic, Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball, Deck the Deck Holiday Party, caroling and much more.

It may be too late to book a Disney cruise for the holidays, but check with your Travel Agent to work some magic.

2. October Is National Cruise Month

It is National Cruise Month and your chance to find several cruise deals. Whether you have sailed before or have been dreaming of sailing, now is a good time to plan a cruise vacation.

Consider an Alaska cruise for next summer. Plan a European cruise for next fall.

Also, to celebrate the month, the cruise industry is giving you a chance to win big.

National Cruise Month 2015

Plan A Group Cruise

A group cruise is generally comprised of at least 8 cabins (number varies by cruise lines), each with 2 or more passengers.

Group Cruise Ideas: graduation celebration, retirement celebration, family reunions, employee appreciation, club or organization fundraiser, girlfriends' getaway, couples' retreat, church outing, wedding, etc.

Reasons for planning a group cruise:

Cruising with a group is much more fun than cruising alone. I have done both and really prefer sailing with a group. Furthermore, there are perks to be had when cruising as a group.

Plan your group cruise today. Learn more about group cruises here.

Upcoming Group Cruise Opportunities

On this cruise, each guest is asked to bring a backpack with supplies for orphans in Cozumel. Petes Travel Center will provide the backpacks and guests are asked to volunteer to add the supplies.

Prices for inside cabins start under $400 per person and under $450 per person for oceanview cabins. In addition, each cabin will have $50 to spend onboard the ship.

3. Biggest Cruise Getaway

Have you sailed on the biggest cruise ship at sea - Allure of the Seas?

Now you can!

There is a group cruise planned for October 30, 2016 to November 6, 2016 on this beautiful ship, and you are invited.

Cruise Saving Tip

Here is something everyone loves - learning how to save a buck or two on their cruise ship vacation.

Tip: Choose A Shorter Cruise

If you really want to cruise, but do not want to spend too much money, try a shorter cruise.

Did you know that depending on when you sail, you may pay less for two 3-day cruises than you would for one 7-day cruise?

Ask your travel professional to help you plan a shorter cruise and save some money.

Happy saving!
